I’m not just someone selling a product—I’m someone who’s been in your shoes.  As a Black female founder we are the most underfunded demographic in business, yet with no experience in grant writing or fundraising, I learned the language of funders and raised over £100k for my community-focused business, Babes on Waves. Since then, I’ve helped other minority women in my community raise over in grants by sharing access and my expertise..

I’ve raised grants from private companies, government funding bodies, social-impact charities- so my experience is far ranging. There’s different ways to communicate depending on the funding source, and I’ve poured all of my knowledge into it. 

Some more notable grants I’ve been awarded range from £15,000 from Unltd, to £50,000 from Innovate UK. 

In addition to my own experience, I’ve worked with a roster of some of the UK’s top grant writers to pour their own knowledge and advice into this tool.
